The St. Andrew's Mountain Community Center Project

What's New?

Spring is fast approaching, and with it come spring events! But until then, we could all use a little bit of activity to keep us going in this cold weather.
Did you know the community center has several fitness-related classes? On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Sensei Donna K Westphalen offers Karate classes for all ages. On Monday and Wednesday evenings, you can come shake out those winter doldrums with some dance at our Zumba classes, offered by Carisa Goho! And on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings, we have a brand spanking new offering - Muscle Up!
    This new fitness class
promises big muscle in a small, but highly intense workout. These workouts rely on little more than your own body weight to produce more strength, power & muscle mass and will teach you new skills, improve your form and strengthen your core so that you are lifting and moving more efficiently than ever. The class will target all major muscle groups and include cardio through a high-repetition circuit.
The class will include high and low options to accommodate ALL fitness levels, and the instructor, Vanessa Stolarski, specializes in injury prevention and movement compensation correction. All exercises can be tailored to your needs and abilities.
See our class schedule for more information on this new offering and our other fitness classes, as well!

Remember, this is your community center! Do you have something to contribute? Join us at our monthly board meeting on the third Monday of every month, or consider some of our volunteer opportunities.

We are a volunteer, non-profit organization, and rely on the support of the community. If you would like to donate, you may do so below!
